코로나에 대한 세계 각국 정책 비교 자료

영국 옥스퍼드 대학교 (University of Oxford) 의 블라바트닉 정부학 대학원 (Blavatnik School of Government) 에서는 코로나바이러스 (COVID-19) 에 대한 세계 각국의 정책을 비교하는 자료를 제공하고 있습니다. 

세부 17 개 정책 지표를 활용하여 4 개의 정책 영역 (봉쇄 및 폐쇄, 경제, 보건의료, 기타) 에 대한 국가별 정책을 조사하여 정책의 엄격성 (Stringency) 을 비교할 수 있도록 하고 있습니다.  

이는 2020년 3월부터 2020년 12월까지 진행되는 프로젝트로, 프로젝트 진행 기간 동안 계속해서 정보가 업데이트 될 것입니다.

해당 프로젝트의 웹사이트를 방문하면 각 국가별 정책 엄격성을 한 눈에 비교할 수 있는 다양한 도구를 제공하고 있습니다.  아래와 같은 지도를 통해 각국의 정책 엄격성 수준을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 

아래와 같이 원하는 국가만을 선택하여 해당 국가들의 정책 엄격성 정도를 비교해 볼 수도 있습니다. 아래 그래프를 보면 한국의 경우 43.52점, 이 자료를 생산한 옥스퍼드 대학교가 소재한 영국의 경우 79.63으로 한 눈에 파악하기가 용이합니다.  정책 엄격성이 높고 낮음과 코로나 바이러스에 대한 대응책의 효과성은 별개의 문제일 뿐만 아니라 각 국의 코로나19 상황에 따라 다를 것이므로 이 같은 자료를 이용하고 해석함에 있어서 주의를 요합니다.
